Founder Samuel Wang started a clothing line called Akufuncture (pronounced like acupuncture but it’s func instead of punc) located in Los Angeles. The goal of the company is to create more awareness for Chinese culture through fashion. At Akufuncture they felt that as much as US has been enamored by the mystery of the Far East, there are still very little knowledge about Chinese culture, especially for the younger generations. With our line of t-shirts and hoodies, “We hope to spark an interest in just knowing about who we are and where we came from.”
